I was born in Trollhattan, Sweden 19th July 1955. Grew up in Stockholm and for a few years also in Kalmar, on the south east coast of Sweden.
Entered in to the Swedish Marines in 1974 and went on to the Swedish Fire Service in 1979. Graduated as Senior Fire Officer in 1981. Holding the rank of Major in the Marines and Major in the Fire Service. Worked for many years as Senior Officer in Stockholm Fire Service. Moved in 1998 to Singapore for work and has stayed on there ever since. My job in South East Asia has among other places brought me to the Indonesian forest, where I was fighting forest fires for 4 years. I have also worked for NATO/EADRCC in Croatia, Russia and Uzbekistan. My mother tongue is Swedish, my working language has been English for many years and I speak Indonesian and some Malay.
I was for a period engaged in Major Emergency Management training, for oil and gas industry offshore, in South East Asia. Relocated in May 2006, to Perth, Australia, working for a company called GHD, as principal risk management consultant.
I try to work out in gym to keep in shape, and an early morning on horse back in the forest is my absolute favorite.
