  1. Fire protection planning for energy supply tunnels in Stockholm
    More then 60 km of tunnels supplying most of Stockholm with all different types of energy and telecommunications.
  2. Fire protection planning for Hässelby power plant. Coal powder combustion.
    Hässelby power plant has a total produced effect of 500 MW and an estimated asset value of more then 2 Billion US Dollars. It is of key importance to the energy supply in large areas of Stockholm.

  1. Originator of standard operational procedures for special operations
  2. Responsible for contingency planning for special events in Stockholm.
  3. Chief instructor and originator of “chief of staff training” and Staff training” courses in Stockholm Fire Service.

Major Fire and Rescue Operations

  1. 1989 M/S Athena. Operations Commander for onboard ship fire in Swedish cruise liner in Stockholm Port. All POB saved.
  2. 1990 M/S Sally Albatross. Operations Commander for onboard ship fire in Swedish cruise liner, in floating dock, Finnboda shipyard in Stockholm. All POB saved, the ship was declared total loss.
  3. 1990 M/S Scandinavian Star. Assistant Operations Commander for ship fire in Danish cruise liner of the Swedish West Coast. 157 people died before fire crews arrived.
  4. 2002-2005 Riau, Sumatra. Operations Commander for multiple fire fighting operations during fire season in Sinar Mas Forestry. The largest single operation covered 750 fire fighters and 3 helicopters for 4 weeks, over an area equal to Singapore’s.
